So. All you Obama lovers out there, convinced that he brings with him all the answers and a blissful era of “change” (a magnificent campaign PR job, admittedly) I ask you: How does he cope with a truly stupid person in Nancy Pelosi, a real liability to his presidency. If you are willing to be honest with yourself, San Franciscans excluded, and have any powers of observation, you have to admit that she is: 1.) A tin eared, inside the beltway politician. 2.) Utterly detached from workaday America. 3.) Patently corrupt. She hires non-union, illegal Mexicans to tend her significant Californian vineyard acreage and restaurant chain. 4.) Beholden to more special interests than you’ve had hot dinners. 5.) An utterly, unalterably, irredeemably dim witted Daddy’s girl who’s mission in life is purely psychological. You guys on the… whatever side it is .. are going to wonder who the hell it was you supported. Not thirty days in and already you’ve got THREE TAX CHEATS confirmed to high office replete with excuses of “everybody’s human, we all make mistakes.. blah, blah, blah ad nauseum.” (Thank you Oprah.) Frankly, if I were on your team I would be feeling a bit abashed. I, for one, am getting quite a kick out of it. Add to the mix Joe Biden, a stunning intellect one heartbeat away from the most powerful office in the world and you’ve got the makings of of B’way Musical Comedy. If this isn’t farce then I’m Yogi Berra. Congratulations bumper sticker America! You got what you wished for. Now deal with it.
