REBUTTING OBAMA’S HEALTH CARE SPEECH
By Dick Morris And Eileen McGann 09.14.2009
***Watch Dick tonight, Monday 9/14/09, on Cavuto on FOX Business at 6:00 PM ET and on Hannity on FOXNews at 9:00 PM ET***
In his hour long speech on health care, he failed to spend even a moment rebutting the central critique of his program: His inability to provide quality medical care for 30 million new patients without any additional doctors or nurses.
The shortage of medical personnel which will inevitably accompany the expansion of the patient population will leave some element – and perhaps all — without adequate care. Like the man who sleeps with a blanket that is too small, either his neck or his feet will get cold unless he gets a bigger blanket.
The result of expanding the demand for medical services without augmenting the supply of doctors or nurses must be the rationing of medical care. And rationing will inevitably take its greatest toll among the elderly, forcing them to forgo elective surgery or, if their remaining quality years are likely to be limited, to do without vital life-prolonging treatment. Inevitably, we will all have to wait many more days, weeks, months or years for care we now receive on demand.
Obama will cut Medicare and that portion of Medicaid which serves the elderly in nursing homes (75 percent) in two ways:

No doubt there are many uncertainties surrounding health care reform and what it will mean for seniors and Medicare. But one fact that is missing and will put seniors at ease is that as long as they enroll in a Medicare plan for 2010, they will not lose it at any time during 2010, regardless of whether a health care reform bill passes. A good tool for finding a Medicare plan to suit your needs is PlanPrescriber.com.
Is Oboma holding us hostage as far as cutting out fraud
in medicare. He shows no signs of starting it unless he
gets his public option plan passed.
Does any one know just what the monthly premiums will be if
the do decide to pass health care without the 60 votes?
I am 75 and do not know just what I can do. I talk to all
my friends that will listen. However, I live in Washington
state. That says it all. The Democrats here all seem to
think he is completly honest.
How can I help? I do send money when I have it. I am
living on a fixed income of ss and a small retirement.

As a NYPD Officer 1955/1975 and as a RN in Med Malpractise 13 years I think I know the truth of the present day situiation we are in today. I also was very familiar as an Officer assigned to the New York school system in Brooklyn NY. So I lived through the turbulent years and tried desperately to spread the word on conservitism. Paranoia started with the liberals during the 60s riots when Police were called out to curb the violance. We were labled Pigs and storm Troopers. The Civilian Review Board was instituted and it destroyed the NYPD. Now we live in the fallout due this liberal paranoia…..
I think it’s a shame what is happining to this country and the middle class working people. We are the one’s who built this country and what it stands for.I had to pay social security and medicare out of my check every week, now the Government wants to give it to people who never put a penny in the system. The seniors are the ones who deserve to be protected against this.I admit the health care system needes to be overhauled but not at the expense of the seniors.I have a right to live I am an American citizen.
We can’t keeping looking to the President to change. In my view he won’t. So it’s up to the Senators to start looking ahead at their futures. They may not be back in the future. I say call the “Presidents bluff”. Everyone in Congress has their own interests- call them on it. The “Paper Dragon” will collapse if the wind blows hard enough!!!!! Dick:
I have heard your repeated requests for donations to run 10 sec adds
in opposition to Obama’s health care plan.
Are the donations tax deductible? Can it be set up so they are?
Have you considered asking Hannity, O’Reilly, M. Levin, Imus, etc.,
all of which cold use tax deductions, to contribute $1M each to save
the country from bankruptcy?
Donations from such individuals and in those amounts may incourage
others to donate. Additionally it won’t much affect their bottom line!
Best Wishes and Good Luck!

obama wants govt. health care, so he can take over the unions health care ,mainly UAW, under the disguise the auto industry would be more competitive vs imports. this is after uaw priced themselves out of business with there demands backed by the far left. he made this comittment to the president of uaw and his newly appointed ceo of gm.
Mr. Morris I don’t support President Obama public health plan. For that matter I don’t support any health plan. I do support cutting costs, and big government staying out of my life. I do not need the government to think for me. I am a well read person and I traveled in my life too. At this stage of my life ( I am 76 years ) the president has been observed by me as a big problem. I pray God for his intervention. Please, if I can assist our common cause contact me.
President Obama is a notorious liar. It’s so obvious. The president realy does not like white people. Unfortunately, like the Indian
( white law makers )are now being used to accomplish his goal. What are the president’s goals: a) tax the people, b) provide a healthg care plan whereby over 80% of the public has their own and likes what they have c) helped creare ACORN which is nothing more than a guerilla outfit dedicated to over throw this government,c) not listening to the voices of public and d) using the media to propagandize the people.
