    I feel as does Ann, that before anything happens within the Republican Party, changes have to made regarding their core priciples before anyone will embrace them again. Leave the progressives cross over and join their bretheren in the Democratic Party, then reformulate the view of most Americans. The idea of appeasing the opposition is no longer very appealling.
